Half Day Fishing
A half day trip is perfect for families or individuals who either don't want to spend an entire day on the ocean or have not been ocean fishing before. Sea Bass are the primary catch on most of these trips, however, depending on the time of year, it could also be Croaker, Flounder, Triggerfish or Taug. Trips are 4 hours long and usually begin Memorial weekend and continue through mid to late September.
Night Fishing
The Ocean Princess is the only Ocean City headboat that offers night fishing on selected nights during the summer months. Fishing at night has become one of our most popular trips, with the added experience of a beautiful sunset on your journey. Our primary catch on these trips is Sea Bass, however, Croakers and Triggers are common during this time. Other species may also appear as they are attracted to the boat’s flood lights.
8 Hour Wreck Fishing
These trips are run in the spring and fall months. Sea Bass are typically the main catch, but we often catch Flounder, Trigger Fish, Croaker, Taug and Blue Fish. Fish species is usually dictated by season of the year. For your fishing comfort, the boat is limited to 65 passengers on these trips.
12 Hour Wreck Fishing
One of our most popular off season trips. Much like our 8 hour trip, our primary catch is Sea Bass with a scattering of Taug, Triggerfish and Flounder. The additional 4 hours of fishing gives us the ability to venture farther from shore to take advantage of prime fishing grounds. For your fishing comfort, 12 hour fishing trips are limited to 35 anglers. These trips are date specific and are by reservation only. So don't be left at the dock, reserve your space now. Dates are posted on our home page.
8 Hour Tautog Fishing
The Captain's personal favorite are the 8 hour Tautog (aka: Taug or Blackfish) trips. Pound for pound, Tautog are one of the most exciting and difficult fish to catch. Tautog trips are typically scheduled during the winter and early spring. To ensure a pleasant winter fishing experience the boat has a heated cabin. These trips are limited to 25 anglers and sell out fast. Dates and times for our Tautog trips will be posted as we approach the winter months.
