November 28, 2011 Greetings Friday’s 12 hour trip was certainly a nice one. Despite the wind and tide coming from opposing directions everyone ended up with a nice catch of fish. Quite a few folks had their limit and plenty of people with catches in the mid to upper teens. Saturdays 8 hour trip of equally as good, maybe even a little better. Several people had their limit Saturday and many had catches in the mid to upper teens. A number of bluefish and codfish were caught on both days with the largest one coming in at 12.5 pounds. This past weekend was our last fishing for this season and we will start up again around April 2012. We hope to see you then for some tog fishing. We hope everyone enjoys the holidays and remember take a kid fishing. Capt. Victor October 2, 2011 Greetings We just finished our fall special trips on Friday September 30th where we were sailing 8am to 1:30pm a 5 1/2 hour trip for the cost of our 4 hour trips, just $42 for adults and $22 for kids 12 and under. We had some good catches usually a variety of species including sea bass, flounder, triggerfish and blue fish. The weather has not been the best but we are getting out. We started our 8 hour trips on Saturday October 1st, and the catch was not the best but Sunday October 2nd produced a much better catch. We had some with numbers in the high teens. If you sit on the bench and not pay attention then you don’t catch. If everyone had worked at it just a little then the catch would have been great. Sometimes fisherman can be very frustrating, but I guess that fishing. We will be fishing everyday 7am to 3pm through October 11. After October 11th we will be fishing weekends, Saturday and Sundays only, 7am to 3pm. We still have openings for our 12 hour trips on November 11th and 25th. Boat leaves at 6am returns at 6pm.
