Greetings
We ventured out on our first springtime seabass trips for the year this past weekend. I wish I could tell you that fishing was incredible, but
there would probably be a few folks who disagreed. We covered alot of ground both Saturday and Sunday looking for the one spot that was going
to fill up the boxes, but we just couldnt find it. Seems like every time we anchored up on a spot the fish would bite really good for about a
minute or two and then shut down on us. Its hard to say why, but I think the seabass just really aren't here quite yet. Thats not to say
that we didn't end up with some nice fish. Just not as many as folks were hoping for. Top anglers over the weekend ended up breaking into the
double digits on numbers of seabass with a few Taug mixed in here and there. Judging by what I saw over the weekend, I would imagine that we
should see some decent numbers of keeper bass by the weekend.
Remember, the boat is only running on Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and Monday until Memorial Day weekend.
